These classes are a great opportunity for your child to learn the basics of dance, music and movement.

Chelsea Devine-Vellasamy takes the Saturday class and is an experienced dancer, having joined North Shore Dance Centre as a young child herself. Chelsea is a qualified Primary School Teacher and builds a wonderful rapport with the children in the class.

Your child will have the opportunity to perform on stage at various events and enjoy the costumes, the fun and the experience.

We aim to give your child a positive experience developing their self confidence and understanding of dance and music.

A variety of music is used which allows your child to shake, wiggle, clap and perform to music. A fun way to develop dance technique in a basic and fun format.

New students are welcome throughout the year, if spaces are available.

There is no uniform, therefore your child is free to wear what is comfortable. Usually the children wear a Tee Shirt and bike shorts/leggings. Alternatively, Leotards are available from Farmers or KMart.

No shoes or socks are worn in this class.
