young_children_8   Pre School Dance Movement Class
3 and 4 year olds

Saturday morning 9.15am to 9.45am     3 year olds
                               10.00am to 10.30am  4 year olds
with Miss Kim

These classes are a great opportunity for your child to learn the basics of dance, music and movement.

Kimberley_YongKimberley Yong (Miss Kim)  takes the Saturday class and is an experienced dancer in many styles, having joined North Shore Dance Centre as a young child herself (over 14 years ago). Kim is currently in her final year studying the Bachelor of Dance Degree at the University of Auckland and is able to build a wonderful rapport with the children in her class.

Your child will have the opportunity to perform on stage at various events and enjoy the costumes, the fun and the experience.

We aim to give your child a positive experience developing their self confidence and understanding of dance and music.

A variety of music is used which allows your child to shake, wiggle, clap and perform to music. A fun way to develop dance technique in a basic and fun format.

New students are welcome throughout the year, if spaces are available.

There is no uniform, therefore your child is free to wear what is comfortable. Usually the children wear a Tee Shirt and bike shorts/leggings. Alternatively, Leotards are available from Farmers or KMart.

No shoes or socks are worn in this class.

Only $6 per class for a 5 week concession card or $7.50 casual fee
phone Angela 476 9121 to book your child's place

Once your child turns 5 they move to an after School class (see Jazz Classes)
